ARCHIVE -- OLD NEWS:
Blackberry service continues after RIM's Settlement with NTP for
$612.5 million.
+ IBM - International Business Machines Corp - is concerned that
the United States is losing its competitive edge. IBM will financially
support any employee who wishes to leave the company and take on
the noble task of teaching math and science to improve our schools.
As many as 100 IBM employees will be eligible for the program in
its experimental phase.
+ The challenge posed by Google to Microsoft has given the XPolopoly
with no options but to ally with Google's runner up. What kind of
bad idea innovation will Microsoft force upon Yahoo? Rather than
building a more localized web portal, perhaps we will now see a
portal that "suggests" content instead.
+ Blackberry faces copyright infringment charges in a case that
could lead to the shutdown of the BlackBerry wireless email service
in the US.
