News Update:
A battle is taking place between small internet service providers
and the large barrens of industry. So smaller companies such as
Earthlink and (start-up) Azulstar Networks are taking to meet customers
on the wireless front. Earthlink recently got the public rights-of-way
to build a wireless network throughout Philadelpia. The cost of
creating such a wireless network are a fraction of the cost of a
conventional wire-based network.

The above illustration shows a mapping of the United States internet
network.
